Q: How do I set up an account?

A: Go to https://mypi.pekininsurance.com/ and click Register User. Fill in the form and submit. An email will be sent containing your temporary password. You will be prompted to change this password upon first login.



Q: I am a new policyholder. Can I Create an On-Line Account?

A: We are pleased you have decided to trust your insurance coverage with Pekin Insurance and have chosen to utilize our Internet site for your policy needs. Once you are registered with the site, you can usually view your account immediately. Please keep in mind some items may not be available until you receive your new policy.



Q: What if I can’t remember the answers to my security questions?

A: If you cannot remember the answers to your security questions, please contact our Technical Support Team at 800-322-0160 (ext. 2757), and they will be happy to assist you.



Q: What if I do not have an email address?

A: We use your email address to send a confirmation PIN number to you to complete the account creation process. If you do not have an email address we suggest you sign up with a free email provider such as www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com.



Q: What if I do not receive my temporary password?

A: Please allow 15 minutes for receipt of the temporary password via email. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder and whitelist registration@pekininsurance.com If you still have not received the email, contact the Pekin Insurance Service Desk at 800-322-0160 Ext 2757



Q: What if I forgot my password?

A: If you forgot your password simply click the ‘Forgot Password?’ link found on the main login page. On the next screen enter your username as well as the text shown in the text box. A new screen will appear which will prompt you to answer the security questions which you selected when you created the account. Once these questions are answered correctly and you enter the text box information again a new, temporary password will be emailed to the email address on file for your My PI account.



Q: What if I forgot my Username?

Q: When changing my password for the first time, it tells me the password does not meet the strength requirements.

A: Please ensure that your new password contains at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and at least eight (8) characters long. You may not reuse a recently used password.



Q: Where can I find my policy number?

A: Your policy number is provided on the following documents: Declaration Sheet (Policy Cover Page), Billing Statements, Auto Insurance ID Card



Q: Why am I required to enter the crazy letter / number combinations found in the text boxes?

A: We know that this step is no fun for you as a user; however, it is necessary to prevent hackers from running programs which attempt to access user accounts.
